Schools & Education

Our volunteers and their Therapets are keen to visit schools and youth/community groups to help promote responsible and caring dog ownership.

Our Therapets have been assessed for carrying out this type of school visit. Prior to visiting schools and youth/community groups, we recommend that pupils view our short feature video below. The video provides basic information and guidance about looking after your pet. You can then download our Quiz questions to work with the pupils and ensure that they have taken on board the best practices.

We also have created a teachers' pack to accompany this which is available from the Therapet office. The informative pack contains a guide for the teacher and some small sticky badges for the children.
